SIR CLIFF RICHARD CHARITY EVENT

SIR CLIFF RICHARD CHARITY EVENT
On 6th July 2007, Steve played the music at a prestigious event at Hampton Court Palace in London.

He was invited along to provide the music at a fund-raising dinner held in aid of the
Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation, an organisation whose mission is to take tennis direct to children in state primary schools.

Performing classical guitar solos firstly by the side of the Thames on the private lawns of Hampton Court Palace and then inside the exquisite banqueting hall, Steve played a large selection of music ranging from the Baroque era through to arrangements of popular songs in front of an audience consisting of many celebrities including Sir Cliff Richard, Tony and Cherie Blair, Gloria Hunniford, Cilla Black, Ken Roach and Daniel ODonnell. At the end of the evening Sir Cliff gave a highly complimentary speech about Steve's playing and asked for a special round of applause from all the guests.

The website for the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation is currently under redevelopement, but this link will tell you a little more about the Foundation
