This was a commissioned work which I completed in 1987 and although the title indicates a 'suite' of pieces to be performed as a complete set, these are actually seven individual Irish tunes, several of which could easily be linked together to form a suite.

Titles include: The Wexford Carol; Miss Hamilton; Sui Sios Fa Mo Dhidean; The Downfall of Paris; The Wild Geese; The Lovely Sweet Banks of the Suir.

The collection also includes an original work based on the first of the above list called The Wexford Carol Variations.
